A large number of wreaths flooded Jakarta City Hall, which on average reads thanks to Governor Basuki Tjahaja Purnama (Ahok) and Deputy Governor Djarot Saiful Hidayat, Tuesday (25/4/2017). City Hall of DKI Jakarta today, Wednesday (4/26/2017), is full of flowers. No, not because the Provincial Government of DKI make flower garden, but because so many bouquets are sent and placed on the page.
Approximately 1,000 bouquets filled the City Hall page that reads similar words but not the same. Similar to the words saying thanks and sorrow for not being able to move on post-election DKI.
In the second round of Election of DKI, the pair of Basuki Tjahaja Purnama (Ahok) defense -Djarot Saiful Hidayat was defeated by challenger Anies Rasyid Baswedan-Sandiaga Salahudin Uno. Even so, Ahok will still have the status of the Governor of DKI at least up to 6 months ahead where his tenure runs out.
Back to the matter of thousands of wreaths, there are odds when looking closer. Imagine, the senders are not using the real name and it seems like a slap or a joke. Strange, right?
The wreaths are of various shape. Start the bouquet, standing flower, up to the wreath board. The majority of the senders also write with various unique identities.
Like ‘Super-Moms Bintaro’, ‘Beties’ Group, ‘Sos Group’, ‘Oneng Group’, ‘Beautiful Mothers of DKI’, to Admirers Badja (Basuki – Djarot).
The wreath, mentioned by Head of Bureau of Foreign and Regional Cooperation of Jakarta Provincial Government, Muhammad Mawardi, has started coming since Monday, April 24, although on 19-20 April there was also a wreath for Governor and Vice Governor of DKI.
“Until now (Wednesday April 26) the number of bouquets we received has reached 1,000 pieces. We continue to record because until now also still keep coming, “explained Mawardi in City Hall Jakarta, Wednesday (26/4/2017).
“We also do not know (from where the source). Later in the future this wreath follow-up will be like what. We are still waiting for orders, “he said tersely.
Here are some sentences “failed move on” is inscribed in the various bouquets:
“Thank you Mr Ahok – Djarot for the sweaty sweat for Jakarta. From Us Who Broke Heart Disappointed as Again Unfortunately ”
“One defeat of a thousand blossoms. Thank you Ahok! ”
“Only you in our hearts … will never be replaced.”
“Ahok – Djarot, if I was told to forget you, I would go to the village first. Get a letter of inadequacy. ”
“Oh God, I love Basuki, I love Tjahaja, Rindu Purnama, Want Badja.”
Not only the wreaths, the failed tones of the move on are also expressed in a cake with the miniature decoration Ahok-Djarot plus the Nemo and Dory cartoon characters from the Disney-Pixar animated film ‘Finding Nemo’.
The cake was given a family who deliberately wanted to meet Ahok at City Hall which also accompanied the writing: “Dear Pak Ahok. You’ll Forever be Our Nemo as Dory Said Just Keep Swimming. ”
After receiving the cake and thanking him, Ahok had a short photograph before he had to leave because he had to attend the 2017 National Development Planning (Musrenbangnas) meeting which will also be attended by President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) at Bidakara Hotel, South Jakarta.
Against all posts that are not yet clear the sender, at least Ahok expressed his gratitude via social media Instagram with account @ basukibtp
“Thank you for all the flowers, the encouraging words sent to City Hall. Reading his creative messages makes me optimistic that Jakarta will progress. Let’s look at the future and pray for the good for Jakarta and Indonesia, “Ahok writes.
This wave of wreaths like a continuous flow of netizens who still worried about Ahok lost. Like Joko Anwar via his Twitter account, as well as some other Ahok sympathizers who seem unable to accept defeat Ahok.
“I cried … Why can not we deserve him? Our loss. Not his, “chirps Joko Anwar through @jokoanwar account.
“Corruptors, radicalists, thugs, legislative rats have peeked at the victory .. unfortunately the people of Jakartah turned out to be more pessimistic with the defense …,” wrote the owner of social media account Facebook Frenky Wong.
